GUSTAVO BOUNOUS

PATRICIA KONGSHAVN

SURGEON AND RESEARCHER

IMMUNOLOGIST AND RESEARCHER

The parents of Immunocal are Dr. Gustavo Bounous and his research team at the Montreal General Hospital, belonging to the McGill University School of Medicine in Canada. Over 18 years of dedication to research, in the 90s, they developed a food supplement of bioactive whey protein. This supplement, patented and registered as Immunocal, is notable for containing exceptionally high levels of Bioactive Cysteine, a vital precursor to Glutathione (GSH). This achievement represents a milestone in scientific research and has contributed significantly to the field of health and wellness.

Winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2008 for discovering the HIV virus that causes AIDS in the 80s.

LUC MONTAGNIER

GLUTATHIONE PHYSICIAN AND RESEARCHER

In his book "Oxidative Stress in Cancer, AIDS and Neurodegenerative Diseases", Dr. Gustavo Bounous dedicates an entire chapter, number 42, to Immunocal and its relevance as a precursor of Glutathione. This specific approach highlights the importance of Immunocal's role in managing oxidative stress associated with critical medical conditions such as cancer, AIDS, and neurodegenerative diseases. This dedicated chapter provides a detailed perspective on Immunocal's contribution to improving cellular health and supporting the immune system in specific clinical contexts.

This scientist improved the Immunocal formula by creating Immunocal Platinum.

WULF DRÖGE

INTERNATIONAL EXPERT IN IMMUNOLOGY, CELL BIOLOGY, ANTIOXIDANTS AND AGING

One of Dr. Wulf Dröge's key discoveries, made in 1987, was the stimulating effect of superoxide radicals and hydrogen peroxide on the functions of lymphocytes. This finding marked the beginning of a series of studies focused on the role of reactive oxygen species in physiological and pathological processes.

In particular, the importance of glutathione and its precursor, cysteine, in these processes was deepened. This discovery has had a significant impact on understanding how these substances are intrinsically linked to key functions in the body and has paved the way for further research into their therapeutic and preventive applications.

Director of the Science Department at Immunotec.

Dr. Jimmy Gutman

GLUTATHIONE PHYSICIAN AND RESEARCHER

Dr. Gutman has dedicated years of research to the study of glutathione and exploring its many clinical applications. His experience is reflected in several books that comprehensibly break down the significant results of these investigations.

Thanks to his comprehensive training as a physician and educator, Dr. Gutman is uniquely equipped to communicate these discoveries in an accessible way. His books offer clear explanations backed by a substantial amount of published research results, ensuring the satisfaction of even the most meticulous scientist.
